Refund Policy

At OOBIUKU CLOTHING we want you to love every piece. If something is not right, this policy explains how returns, refunds, and exchanges work for our physical goods. OOBIUKU CLOTHING is a registered Nigerian business name (Business Name No. BN2572244), operated by our proprietor Obiuku Ozioma.

1. Eligibility

You may return eligible items within 7 days of delivery. To qualify, items must be:

  • Unworn, unwashed, and unaltered.
  • In their original condition with all tags still attached.
  • Returned in the original packaging where possible.
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or receipt).

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of approval. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method.

2. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Custom-tailored or made-to-measure native wear.
  • Pierced jewelry and earrings, for hygiene reasons.
  • Items that have been worn, washed, or altered.
  • Sale, clearance, or final-sale items.
  • Gift cards.

3. How to Request a Refund

To start a return, contact us within the 7-day window with your order number:

We will confirm the return address and next steps. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item was faulty or sent in error.

4. Currency & Processing

Refunds are issued in the original transaction currency — NGN or USD — to the payment method used at checkout. Naira refunds are processed in line with Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) guidelines. Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to reflect, depending on your bank or payment provider.

5. Exchanges

We are happy to exchange an eligible item for a different size or colour, subject to availability. If your preferred replacement is unavailable, we will offer a refund or store credit. To arrange an exchange, contact us using the details above within the 7-day window.
